Metacity

Metacity is the default compositing window manager for GNOME. It was designed by Havoc Pennington in 2000.
If for some reason (such as uninstalling theme managers) Metacity stops working properly (windows still show but are missing the title bar at the top) try opening a terminal and running the command:
metacity --replace
